The scope of the project included structural floor repairs to a historic building to address deteriorated and fractured framing members within the crawlspace and foundation system. The work focused on stabilizing and reinforcing the existing wood framing and masonry support elements while preserving the historic character of the structure. The project included the installation of temporary shoring and protection of existing construction during repairs, as well as repairs to structural steel components and associated waterproofing systems. In addition, the crawlspace was fully encapsulated, and dehumidification controls were installed to help protect the structure from future moisture-related damage. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within the client's budget expectations
