The project consisted of a comprehensive exterior restoration and structural repair program for a fully occupied apartment community located in Charleston. The scope of work included replacement of selective roofing assemblies, deck repairs, exterior windows, stucco cladding systems, brick veneer, fiber cement siding and panel systems, as well as extensive waterproofing and structural repairs. The structure consisted primarily of wood framing that had sustained significant deterioration, requiring coordinated structural reconstruction and façade restoration efforts throughout the property. Due to the occupied nature of the apartment complex, KRC carefully phased construction activities to minimize disruption to residents while maintaining safety, schedule, and quality standards. The project was completed within an anticipated 16-month construction schedule.
