This project involved the complete reroofing of a 22,000-square-foot commercial warehouse. KRC removed two existing layers of bitumen roofing and fiberboard, repaired deteriorated metal decking where required, and applied rust inhibitor to low areas of the roof as needed.
A new Elevate TPO roofing system was installed, including new polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation on the pitched roof sections. The scope also included installation of new TPO membrane on the parapet walls, new coping caps around the roof perimeter, and new gutters and downspouts along the low side of the building. To complete the exterior restoration, KRC removed and replaced the building's brick expansion joints on both the interior and exterior elevations.
