The project restored the roofing system of an occupied commercial building through comprehensive structural, roofing, and drainage improvements.
KRC completed limited structural truss repairs and parapet wall extensions and repairs before installing approximately 70,000 square feet of new 60-mil TPO roofing over 4.5-inch tapered insulation to improve drainage, energy performance, and long-term weather protection. New scuppers enhanced roof drainage, while HVAC equipment and roof penetrations were carefully relocated and reconnected to accommodate the new roofing system. Swing stage connection points were also installed to provide safe access for future exterior maintenance.
Throughout construction, all work was carefully sequenced to allow the building to remain occupied, requiring detailed planning, coordinated logistics, and a strong commitment to site safety.
