The project consisted of a comprehensive structural restoration of the Dockside Condominiums parking garage and plaza deck located in Charleston. The scope of work included extensive concrete restoration, post-tension cable repairs, reinforcing steel repairs, epoxy injections, cathodic protection systems, waterproofing, expansion joint replacement, and installation of a new pedestal paver plaza system. Additional repairs included structural shoring, slab deflection monitoring, replacement of deteriorated concrete, anti-corrosion protection systems, drainage improvements, and installation of hot rubberized asphalt waterproofing assemblies designed to improve the long-term durability and structural integrity of the occupied parking structure and elevated plaza deck.
