The project consisted of removal and replacement of existing concrete and waterproofing systems over wood framing in all breezeways and exterior balconies due to water intrusion from original construction. To achieve proper integration with the vertical wall systems siding was flood-cut to achieve proper lapping and transition int existing weather barrier systems. The waterproofing reinstalled was Tremco 250GC in addition to an ELD (Electronic Leak Detection) primer to test for any pinholes prior to placement of new concrete walkways and balconies. KRC worked closely with ownership and on-site property management to ensure daily access and egress to keep occupancy for all tenants throughout the construction process.
