Kennedy Richter Construction (KRC) completed comprehensive construction defect repairs at First & Washington, addressing structural, building envelope, and civil deficiencies across two three-story buildings containing eight privately owned townhomes.
The scope of work included structural repairs to garage walls, cantilevered joists, and attic trusses, as well as the replacement of front decks and guardrails to address critical safety concerns. KRC also completed siding and masonry flashing repairs, exterior painting, and extensive grading and drainage improvements, including the installation of new underground piping to redirect water away from the buildings.
These improvements resolved existing deficiencies, enhanced site drainage and water management, and restored the community’s structural integrity, safety, and overall appearance while supporting the long-term durability and performance of the buildings.
