Kennedy Richter Construction (KRC) completed comprehensive construction defect repairs throughout the occupied Hyland Village HOA community, addressing structural, building envelope, and civil issues to improve the safety, durability, and long-term performance of the buildings. The scope of work included grading and drainage improvements, porch stair replacements, structural framing repairs, siding and stone replacement, flashing repairs, chase drain installations, and exterior painting.
Working within an occupied community, KRC coordinated repairs to address existing deficiencies while minimizing disruption to residents. Additionally, KRC developed and implemented a value-engineered mini-split heating and cooling solution to resolve HVAC concerns while delivering an estimated $1 million in savings to the HOA.
The project improved building performance, addressed construction defects, and provided the community with more durable, cost-effective long-term solutions.
