The project consisted of a comprehensive exterior and interior restoration of luxury condominiums located in downtown Charleston. The scope of work included removal and replacement of existing stucco and brick façade systems, cold-formed steel framing repairs, structural steel recoating, window and door replacement, roofing repairs, deck waterproofing, re-sheathing, and installation of new WRB/air barrier systems, Hardie panel cladding, stucco, brickwork, and exterior finishes. Additional work included restoration of high-end interior trim and drywall finishes associated with the extensive structural and building envelope repairs. Due to the constrained urban site and complexity of the structural restoration scope, KRC carefully coordinated logistics, phased construction activities, and occupied property operations while maintaining the quality standards expected within a luxury condominium environment.
